So basically the boy and the mum were going to the supermarket it was about 1981 then the boy stopped he saw a rocket ‘’Mum mum can I go on the rocket I will go to space’’ ‘’Ok Micheal you can go on it’’ ‘’Yay thanks mum’’ ‘’Your welcome’’ ‘’321 blast off’’ ‘’What what happened’’ *Throws helmet* ‘’Sorry Michael did’nt work’’.

Sentence 2

 After they got home the boy was sad because he cound’nt go to space.

Sentence 3

(Conflict)

So he had a idea he was going to do a lemonade stand and save up lots and lots of money

But he did’nt have time because he was very old so he had to do it. It was his dream

After when he had saved up lots of money he went to the rocket but he was in his 70s so if he did he would die straght away

Well when he was at the rocket it would not work but he did’nt notice that he had too much money but it worked and he wanted to spend is last time on earth and see space for the first time.And here is my actual writing

One time in the afternoon at 3:00 in the Caribbean there was a boy his name was Micheal he loved flying rockets then he stopped he saw a toy rocket but he thought it was a real one so he said ‘’Mum can I go on the rocket please’’ ‘’Okay’’ ‘’Yay I am gonna go to space’’ *he goes on the rocket*  * it just rocks back and forth* * Throws helmet on floor*  ‘’ Sorry  it did’nt work’’ ‘’it's fine but I will go to space’’ ‘’I bet you will’’  

70 years later ‘’ I have finally done it I am going to space ‘’  ‘’ 321’’ '' Blast off''. I find it hard to actually build up the story cause it does take some time and you really have to think.

The present writing

 Hi Bloggers J'varn here. Today I did the writing The Present I found it hard to build up the story but after I started writing it it got easier and easier. Link to Video.

When Jake’s mum came back from work the bring a gift “Jake I am home’’ ‘’Oh hey mum what’s for dinner I am hungry’’ ‘’Pizza oh and a got a gift for you why don’t you open it’’ ‘’ok’’ ‘’Woah cool a puppy’’ ‘’woof woof’’ ‘’ Ugh the dog only has three legs’’ ‘’ So Jake you only have one and the dog has three’’ ‘’Whatever mum I don’t care’’ ‘’Jake I think you do care that’s why I got the dog cause it was happy with only three legs so I just thought that it would make you happy’’ ‘’Well he is happy so I should be happy only if I have 1 leg’’  ‘’mum we are going outside’’ ‘’ ok I am just going to call someone’’ ‘’ ok mum’’ ‘’Hey thanks for the puppy’’ ‘’ oh no worries I am sure Jake would of loved it’’ ‘’ Yeah he loved the puppy and after all you did need to do something after all cause you are his dad’’ ‘’ yeah well bye’’ ‘’bye’’. And here is the planing.

There was a boy siting on the couch in the living room playing video game Afterwards, the boy started caring for the puppy and started playing with the ball then looked at the sunset. So the boy didn't like the puppy cause it had 3 legs and he didn't like because he had 2 legs The boy released that it didn't matter if you had two or three legs you only live once so you might as well do whatever you can After the boy and the puppy played together he didn’t care about his one leg because the puppy made him realize that it doesn't matter. Well the boy went I don’t care about the puppy then he turned in to happy. Blog you later

My Questions for Matariki

   What is Matariki Matariki is the new year for Maori and there are these 9 stars there names are  Tupuārangi, Waipuna-ā-Rangi, Waitī, Tupuānuku, Ururangi, Waitā, Pōhutukawa and Hiwa-i-te-Rangi.   This is the time to harvest food and the maori people used the stars too locate to go to certain islands. The lunar calendar uses 354 days. 410 light years away. 

 Where would you find Matariki? In New Zealand the best time is at the end of June and July. In the night sky you will find Matariki by looking for the pot 

 or  Orion about go left then go left go left again and there will be a small cluster of  bright stars this is Matariki.

Miss Green says that matariki helps Maori people decide when to plant different food. Is she right? Yes she is right because you can  plant and harvest crops and plants ready for the next year.

What type of food is the best to harvest at this time of year? Potatoes , Kumara , Wheat , Pumpkins.

Matariki is the Maori new year. How do Maori people celebrate Matariki? Maori reflect on the past and celebrate the present by sharing kai ,  showing manaki (giving and receiving) . We also spent time with whanau, we  also korero and set new goals. 

What do kites play in Maori celebrations of Matariki? To communicate A with those who had passed on, connecting heaven and earth.

This is my legend of Wairaka retell I have done some work on it so then it can sound more detail and interesting 

	The legend of Wairaka
	A long time ago there was a tribe called the Nga te awa tribe the chief name was Toroa he had a daughter called Wairaka they saw a marvelous beach.So they went on the beach and left the women and children on the boat so they could be safe
	Suddenly a tremendous storm came. The grey clouds grew bigger covering the people on the waka as it started to rain there were so many big lumpy rain drops everywhere. Everyone were drenched  ‘’ wairaka what are  we going to do’’ ‘’I don’t we are out in the ocean we have no shelter The women were shifting away they were screaming for help but the men did’nt hear then they were to deaf as they slowly get to the deadly rocks Wairaka and the women and the children are stuck out in the sea. There is a dreadful strom the women are shouting and the kids are crying. Wairaka has to make this awful decision to die or throw away her dad's trust. The paddle is tapu (sacred) so then they  can’t get to the beach unless Wairaka paddle the boat
	Wairaka decided to paddle but the paddle was forbidden to women she had nothing to do but then
	Wairaka had to do it she said to her andserters Kia Whakatane au i ahau ( let me act like a man).
	As Wairaka and her tribe glazed on to the sand her and the Nga te awa tribe jumped off and landed on there knees there were so grateful that they were alive “ You saved us” Wairaka and the Nga te awa tribe stayed there for a long time. Now you can  go see the statue

Suddenly a massive storm was getting close to these jagged rocks. All the kids and women were screaming, kids crying. Wairaka knew what to do she had to paddle the thing was the paddle was tapu (sacred) so she said to her anserster Kia Whakatane au i aha (let me act like a man) so we a all mighty heave she arrived at the beach she had saved her tribe.

          

                               

 Problem 

Wairaka and the women and the children are stuck out in the sea. There is a dreadful storm the women are shouting and the kids are crying. Wairaka has to make this awful decision to die or throw away her dad's trust. The paddle is tapu (sacred) so then they  can’t get to the beach.
