Welcome to my blog! This is a place where I can share my learning. My blog is a collection of questions, ideas, learning in progress and finished work. This year our school focus is "In Our Backyard". Please make comments so I can deepen my understanding, learn about new ideas and improve my work. Thank you for taking the time to support my learning journey!
Hi J'Varn, what a beautiful poem you have written. I wonder if people know how difficult it is to write a Haiku? The first line has to have exactly 5 syllables, the second line has to have exactly 7 syllables and the third line has to have exactly 5 syllables again. You have written a gorgeous poem within the Haiku structure! It is full of imagery and meaning. Here is a Haiku I wrote about the lockdown: The world is on hold Awaiting a positive change for the better
Did you enjoy writing your Haiku? Are you going to write more? bye : )
Thats a cool Haiku , I enjoy writing Haiku poems , i watched a 3 min utube video on ANZAC then i wrote down words from the picture and sounds I could hear and see , finally got the syllables right . I will do more Haiku.bye J'varn
Thanks J'Varn, I like writing them too. Thanks for sharing how you write Haiku so other people might be able to try it for themselves. What a great way to get ideas! Maybe the class could try to do it in one of our Google Hangouts. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your Haiku, I wonder what you will write about next? bye : )
Just a few words yet it makes so much impact on the reader, lovely Haiku J'varn!
